Lead Cybersecurity Engineer- Remote

The Florida Blue Cybersecurity team develops and manages next generation cyber solutions, systems and assets that support this mission. This Lead Cybersecurity Engineer will provide expertise in internetworking electronic mail delivery, including but not limited to, transport layer security, simple-mail-transport protocol, advanced message transport, URL analysis and defanging, inbound email reputation scoring, data loss and information leakage protection, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, and message sandboxing. Experience with implementation and operation of features within products such as Proofpoint Email Protection Suite, CISCO Secure Mail (ESA), Barracuda, Mimecast or O365 Email protection preferred. Candidates must also have experience with security instrumentation and detection to build robust and dynamic email defense policies and processes. The Lead Cybersecurity Engineer will provide input and guidance to maturing email defense and security safeguards and will coordinate with the cybersecurity event response team on detection and intelligence enrichment. Candidates should have experience with fast paced, incentivized business operations that need agility while adhering to diverse regulatory and security framework expectations.

Job Requirements:

• 8 or more years demonstrated proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting of technology solutions or equivalent combination of transferrable experience and education
• 6 or more years' direct experience with maintenance and management of cybersecurity solutions and capabilities (countermeasures, safeguards, detection, etc.)
• Demonstrated understanding and use of foundation network security principles
• Demonstrated proficiency with "explicit" and "implicit" security policy lists; both vendor predefined and organization defined.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration
• Competency in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system
• Extensive experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations
• Knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessment and management, threat and vulnerability management, incident response and identity and access management
• Knowledge of internetwork security infrastructure like firewalls, intrusion prevention systems and associated network protocols and concepts.
• Experience developing, documenting and maintaining security procedures.
• Knowledge of operating systems and security applications, as well as a working knowledge of basic network protocols and tools.
• Strong customer focus with ability to manage customer expectations and experience and build long-term relationships.
• Capable of Leading, implementing, and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations
• Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with a broad range of people and roles including vendors and IT-business personnel.

Strongly preferred:

• Data Center operations: Windows server; Windows Workstation enterprise; Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, ZIX Mail, CISCO Email Security, Proofpoint Email Protection, Symantec DLP for email and Symantec Web Gateway
• Software Defined Lifecycle: waterfall and agile exposure and understanding
• Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in good standing
