We're looking for an exceptional Lead Data Engineer who will keep making sure our software is on the way to becoming impeccable! Does that sound like you? Read along! 🚀

Requirements

• Design and build scalable and efficient ELT pipelines
• Take care of our warehousing and data modeling
• Ensure data consistency and performance of our data pipelines
• Closely liaise with our Backend Engineering Team & Data Team
• Advocate best practices and well tested, reliable data pipelines
• Review code of commits, feedback, discussing ideas, take the time to learn yourself and teach others

Our Stack:

• AWS Cloud
• Apache Airflow & DBT
• Python & SQL
• PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Snowflake

• 4+ years experience in data engineering roles 4️⃣➕
• Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL 🐍
• Experience with cleaning, wrangling, and flattening non-normalized data (e.g. nested JSONs) 🧽
• Be able to solve problems without us holding your hands and turn ideas into elegant solutions 👩‍💻🧑‍💻
• Experience using Git version control (we use Github) 🕹
• Great communication (we use Slack & Notion) 🗣
• Friendly attitude, and an interest in the latest tech, and a passion for learning 📚

Nice but not essential:

• Experience with data streaming solutions & distributed data processing
• Experience with building custom integrations (APIs)
• DataOps skills
• Knowledge of Ruby
• Experience with a remote full-time role
• Watched the TV show 'Silicon Valley' at least twice 😎
