Job Description

We're looking for a Lead Data Engineer for an international team. 

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Senior leading engineer or technical owner of a data platform based in MS Azure;

• Experience working in Agile environment, preferably in an international company;

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT projects with DWH solutions and platforms;

• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes;

• Professional experience with ETL tools (like Talend, IPC, Ab Initio etc.);

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering team;

• Manage and optimize data pipeline workflows and ETL processes;

• Experience in data modeling and processing both batch and event data;

• Conduct regular system performance tuning and troubleshooting;

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data platform architecture;

• Ensure the scalability and performance of data solutions;

• Proficiency in English language at a minimum B2+ level.

Nice to have

• Higher education in a related field;

• Experience with data modeling tools (eg. ER/Studio, Erwin);

• Experience with Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks.

Additional Information

• Work model: Hybrid based in Warsaw, Poland;
• Type of contract: B2B;
• Start: ASAP-1 month
• Rate: up to 240 PLN/h net + vat (depends on experience and skills);
• Project length: 1 year + high possibility of extension
