At Anchanto, we know that the one of the keys to growth is a high-performing Engineering team. We are looking for a strong Data and ML Engineering Lead to l data collection efforts to build our new set of products.

As a lead for Anchanto’s data product, your day-to-day tasks will involve driving data engineering efforts – design and implement data collection workflows, ensure that junior members of the data collection team are adopting development best practices and conduct regular reviews of current data collection workflows.

 Responsibilities:

• Propose and establish technical designs to meet business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain data engineering and ML solutions based on requirements and design specifications using appropriate tools and technologies.
• Create and optimize data pipelines / ETL pipelines for performance.
• Coach and manage junior Data and ML Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their professional growth and ensure project success.
• Work with business and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical needs.
• Leverage existing or create new standard data pipelines to bring value through business use cases.
• Develop automated tests for CI/CD pipelines.
• Gather and organize large and complex data assets, and perform relevant analysis.
• Conduct peer reviews for quality, consistency, and rigor for production-level solutions.
• Build and maintain stable, scalable and robust architecture for efficient data collection and processing
• Develop applications to enable scaling of data collection across multiple platforms
• Conduct technical interviews during the recruitment process

What You Need/ You have a track record of:

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, integration of which at least 3 years of professional hands on development experience in Python and building robust data collectors
• Prior hands-on experience in designing, implementing and deploying of data collection systems using Docker and AWS Cloud Services e.g. Apache Airflow, Containerization, Data Lake
• Prior experience with improving processes and standards for product development
• Prior experience in building data collectors capable of bypassing anti-bot detection mechanisms
• Knowledge of eCommerce marketplaces would be preferred
• Well-organized and must be able to understand big picture
• Strong team player with ability to handle multiple products
• Self-motivated, results-driven individual, passionate about technology
