Lead Data Quality and Governance Analyst

​​We’re looking for a Lead Data Quality & Governance Analyst to help define and drive our data governance road map at a collegial and fast-paced organization. This is a pivotal role, at the intersection of our company’s data strategy and implementation, that requires adaptability, empathy, collaboration, strategic thinking, and a ruthless commitment to measurable results. 

You are…

• a creative, problem solver; you would love to tell us all about the impact of your last DQ or Governance initiative and are highly familiar with breaking down thorny data problems, solving them and succinctly communicating those wins through metrics
• a quick learner and enthusiastic teacher of data flows and concepts; able to pick up new data flows with ease and map/catalog them for organizational consumption
• a natural silo-breaker and an experienced project manager; you thrive on collaboration, and quickly build trust across diverse set of stakeholder groups
• relentless in your commitment to governance, data quality & results;  you are an apt in data governance, mgmt and quality best practices. The buck stops with you and you can and do roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
• Excited to collaborate with fellow connectors in our welcoming, and snacky, office and hybrid environment 

You will…

• Drive the development, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of Data Governance initiatives, including our a DG council, road map, policies, processes, and data/metric inventories through a deep understanding of data across the organization
• Work with a team leveraging a modern data stack, and best-in class tools, including AWS, Snowflake, fivetran, jira, Salesforce and Sigma
• Define processes and automated testing to ensure data quality through our BI reporting
• Proactively, and regularly, identify data quality opportunities, through SQL and data flow based investigations. And then, communicate and coordinate w/ stakeholders to collaborate and close those gaps.  
• Champion, train and monitor adherence to data governance best practices and policies
