Position Summary
As the Lead Database Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for promoting automation, re-use, innovation, simplified developer experience and platform modernization with adoption of container/cloud technologies. The Global Banking Technology digitization, platform modernizations, cloud adoption and 3-5-year strategy offers the opportunity to innovate with re-usable tools and repeatable patterns. Will be part of a small engineering group to support the march to the future of Banking to build tools and patterns to provide a huge lift on efficiency and effectiveness.
The role will help build re-usable tools and frameworks and repeatable solutions for use by Global Banking Technology & Business teams as well as the BOFA developer community at large. The focus will be Data Protection/Virtualization tools for Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop and other big data platforms.
Required Skills:

• 3+ years of Python
• Expert in RDBMS/Oracle-Exadata/Converge Database
• Oracle DBA experience
• Hadoop/Hive/Spark/Big Data
• GRAPH database
• Unix/Shell Scripting
• Python Expertise
• Understanding of MPP architectures
• CICD Tools, Processes and Automation
• Degree in Computer Science + 10-15 years' experience

Pay and benefits information
Jersey City pay range:
$90,500 - $160,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
