Adage Technologies, Inc. seeks Lead Developers in Chicago, IL.
Duties:

• Building complex web applications and dynamic components of web/ecommerce sites.
• Utilizing ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Linq, WCF, MVC.
• Using client-side technologies like JavaScript to enhance application features- Angular.js is our current JS framework of choice.
• Working in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Meeting and speaking with clients to gather requirements and architect applications.
• Creating technical solutions to complex ecommerce problems.
• Sharing your knowledge with our team and taking time to learn from them too.
• Providing input on how to improve the Adage business process using your personal expertise.
• Maintaining existing web applications for current clients.
• Constantly improving your own skills and programming knowledge.
• Preparing and designing the application architecture.
• Performing peer code reviews frequently and provide consistent feedback. Ensure that proper unit tests are in place for both server side and client side code.
• Ensuring that the team is prepared for meetings by testing expected functionality before the meeting.
• Defining proper deployment and GIT branching strategies.
• Remaining accountable for an iteration and overall project outcome.
• Organizing and researching continued improvement in dev processes (e.g. industry best practices, seeking efficiency improvements, advocate for improvements).

This role:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent), plus 5 years of experience in a related occupation.
Requires 5 years of experience in the following: Developing ASP.NET applications; and coding in C#.
Requires any amount of experience in the following: JavaScript, Angular and/or React; Microsoft SQL Server; Working within a Microsoft development environment like Visual Studio; and HTML.
