Job Description

Lead Development Manager
Develops standards, processes and best practices for solution architecture; leads solution architects in delivering high quality solution architectural designs for businesses.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Establishing standards, processes and best practices in solution architecture, to ensure high quality deliverables.
  • Leading the solution architecture team in providing business services and solutions for product designs.
  • Providing expert advice to solution architects and business partners on solution architectural designs and options.
  • Translating business requirements throughout the solution architecture procedure; delivering technical solutions in accordance with architecture standards, and design specifications.
Qualifications
  • 5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred
  • University (Degree), Preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Career Level
9PL

Required:
  • 5 or more years of technology delivery team management.
  • 5 or more years of enterprise application development.
  • 5 or more years of demonstrated large program delivery ($5M+).


Preferred:
  • 7 or more years of system design, test and pipeline automation.
  • 7 or more years of domain expertise in retirement business.
  • SAFe (agile) delivery experience.
  • Managing and or Leading Technology in the application delivery area.
  • Ability to stay calm and collected in the face of numerous stressful and high stakes situations and related deadlines.
  • Possess exceptional organizational and analytical skills with the ability to develop and manage concurrent projects.
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with other business, operations and technology teams across TIAA.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and motivating matrixed and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Working knowledge of end-to-end systems involved dev ops, code management and code quality.


Potential Salary: $155,610.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
