Lead DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join out technology team in Clarivate. You will be working in a highly agile, innovation driven and DevOps centric software product organization alongside with product engineering team, cloud and software security engineers, architects, agile delivery managers and software support teams.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments…

• Overall 7 years of experience and 3 years as AWS DevOps Engineer with experience on various CI/CD tools.

• Excellent knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery approaches. Strong practical knowledge of CI Tools, e.g. Jenkins

• Strong experience in any Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) like Terraform or CloudFormation

• Strong scripting skills in one or any combination of bash, python.

• 3 years of hands-on experience with Docker. 

• Minimum 1 years of experience in AWS RDS DB Server administration(MySQL & PostgreSQL). 

• Minimum 1 years of experience using AWS Lambda

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

It would be great if you also had . . . 

• Experience in programming languages. TypeScript or Javascript.

• AWS (Step Functions, API Gateway)

•  Infrastructure monitoring especially with Datadog experience a plus.

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Drive integration and delivery of technical solutions aligned with product roadmaps, customer needs, and strategic priorities. 

• Design, develop and implement the product infrastructure architecture. 

• Drive the implementation of service improvements, automation, monitoring, and DevOps best practices throughout the product lifecycle.  

• Own the performance, availability, reliability, security, and scalability of the product(s) running across cloud, global multi-region, infrastructure.
