Lead DevOps Engineer

Two Six Technologies is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to work within a cross-functional development team focused on advancing state-of-the-art projects within cybersecurity technology.

• Maintain and improve various build tools and processes
• Develop and support production automation
• Work with developers to execute software releases, configuration updates, and other release requirements
• Maintain the health and status of the build pipeline
• Identify and develop new, better ways of achieving project goals
• Utilize a strong work ethic and genuine curiosity in both the current task and future tasks that current efforts may lead to
• Respond to performance issues identified by alerting and other reported incidents

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 7 years experience in DevOps
• Minimum 5 years BASH and Python scripting experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with production quality Jenkins or ELK server.

Nice If You Have:

• Active DoD clearance (Secret or above)
• Prior work with Cloud Service providers such as AWS and Google
• Experience with Docker, Packer, and RHEL
• General CI/CD tooling knowledge, experience, and best practices
• Experience with configuration management/automation
• Familiarity with best practices for infrastructure security, reliability, and fault tolerance
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Understanding of cybersecurity systems

• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
