POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead, Digital Analytics plays an integral role in ensuring our global digital efforts are measured and performing effectively. This role is responsible for developing measurement plans and key performance indicators for our global partners. This person will be responsible for developing a digital analytics framework that will provide data driven insights on digital efforts. Development of dashboards and story-telling reports using data from various sources will be key in this role.
Reporting to the Head of Global Digital Strategy, this role will require the ability to work cross functionally with internal and external partners. This is a new role and the person in this role will help build out our digital analytics capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement an analytics and reporting roadmap for Amylyx web properties and campaigns integrating data from multiple sources.
- Develop deep dive reports into website activity and partner with digital strategist, brand team and agencies to make website optimization enhancements.
- Develop clear internal presentations for brand team to drive decisions and leadership to understand how digital assets are improving as well as planned optimizations.
- Identify and work with external agency partners to support analytics roadmap.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop measurement plans with KPIs and metrics across all digital channels (web, email, social, paid media) for campaigns.
- Design and create dashboards for web properties and campaigns to monitor against key performance indicators.
- Manage the ongoing tagging and maintenance of GA-4 and matomo to ensure proper website tracking is in place.
- Work with digital media agencies to ensure campaigns are properly tagged and measured against KPIs.
- Work with the Commercial Analytics team to analyze success of programs against commercial data and incorporate into CRM.
- Partner with IT organization on data/analytics needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of experience in digital analytics in Pharma/biotech or other related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5-10 years’ experience in digital analytics.
- Master’s degree Preferred.
- Experience at an agency is a plus.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing performance metrics. Experience working with data integrations. Experience with GA-4 & Google tag manager required.
- 5+ years’ experience with dashboarding tools like Tableau and Domo.
- Excellent presentation skills with keen ability to pull a story together with data.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of data privacy laws including GDPR, California data laws, and others.
- Experience working with media buying partners and external agencies.
- Expert in excel and other data processing and analysis platforms.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with the ability to prioritize efforts and manage stakeholder expectations with strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation/decision-making skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, diplomatic, and able to effectively deal with ambiguity and solve problems through innovative thinking.
- Natural entrepreneurial spirit with strong personal drive and ability to analyze data/insights to inform key decisions.
