Lead - Digital Intercompany Operations Analyst

Job Description:

The Lead - Digital Intercompany Operations Analyst is a member of the MGS Finance Intercompany Team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide hands-on oversight for the portion of Intercompany accounting processes facilitated via the Digital Intercompany and Global Billing tools. This role is accountable to the Intercompany Operations Manager and will ensure the delivery of quality digital operations within a strong control environment, as well as lead continuous improvement initiatives that will yield greater efficiency and financial accuracy.

Minimum:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or Business

Preferred:

• MBA or CPA equivalent• RPA Developer Certification• Change Management Certification• Project Management Certification

Knowledge/Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience with background financial accounting and finance systems, with In-depth knowledge of Intercompany accounting, processes, GAAP requirements and internal controls.• Preferred Shared Service or other relevant experience working in a global function across different regions and time zones• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and developments.• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple deliverables simultaneously and meet deadlines• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Experience using SAP / Oracle / Navision / Power BI / Power Apps / Microsoft Flow / Azure or other cloud computing platforms

What will be your key responsibilities?

Manage Digital Intercompany Processes:• Understand end-to-end Intercompany accounting processes, including the related financial systems, master data, and reporting.• Ensure accuracy of financial results through the integrity of processes facilitated via the Digital Intercompany and Global Billing tools.• Maintain a strong governance and controls environment for Digital Intercompany processes, monitoring compliance to GAAP, ICE, and the Mars Finance Manual.• Act as business partner to finance operations teams and unit stakeholders who leverage Digital Intercompany tools to execute activities. Provide support for exception and issue resolution.• Lead efforts, as they relate to Digital Intercompany processes, to coordinate timelines, risk mitigation plans, stakeholder management, and technical support coverage for complex global processes such as period end and year end close.• Co-lead the Genpact Digital Intercompany team to deliver a timely and accurate financial close for all Digital Intercompany processes.

Continuous Improvement:• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Digital Intercompany space, aiming to deliver efficiencies and automation in global Intercompany operations.• Engage technical resources as needed to partner on system enhancements and new development.• Lead standardization and documentation efforts across all Digital Intercompany processes.• Deliver marketing and training to stakeholders to raise user acceptance of the Digital Intercompany and Global Billing tools.• Partner with operations teams to identify opportunities to onboard units/activities to Digital Intercompany processes where manual transacting currently exists.
