POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead, Digital Strategy, North America is a highly influential and visible role that will be responsible for planning and executing digital programs across multiple stakeholders. You’ll be part of an expanding digital team with the goal of amplifying our digital initiatives at Amylyx. The person in this role needs to be a great communicator and presenter with extensive digital knowledge in the pharma, medical device, or biotechnology space.

Reporting to the Head of Global Digital Strategy, this role will require the ability to work cross functionally and be a key contributor to the US and Canada ALS brand teams. You’ll be responsible for digital efforts across multiple audiences including healthcare professionals, people living with ALS, and their caregivers/families.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with US HCP & Community Brand teams and Canada Brand team to own and drive digital efforts aligned to company and brand objectives.
  • Plan and manage execution of complex digital programs across multiple channels (web, email, SEM, SEO, paid media, social).
  • Advise on digital content plans in collaboration with brand-lead to support campaign efforts.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations to build out HCP lead generation programs for follow up by the sales team.
  • Build landing page and web strategy to support digital efforts. Provide best practice recommendations and see projects through from Strategy through QA and launch with our agency partner and internal resources.
  • Partner with Digital Analytics to ensure analytics tagging is in place and that reporting tells a story based on KPIs and objectives.
  • Develop and build re-targeting plans based on content objectives for campaigns in partnership with internal and agency partners.
  • Work with Marketing Automation and brand lead to help define flows for email and/or SMS campaigns as part of overall campaign plans.
  • Manage digital agency relationships for media, SEO, and other partnerships.
  • Submit content for approval as needed through the MLR process.
  • Stay on top of digital capabilities and partner with IT to integrate new capabilities into the Amylyx digital ecosystem. Be an advocate for the use of innovation in commercial activities, making the business case and demonstrating how new and existing digital capabilities could positively impact growth.
  • Provide education on digital trends to all levels of the organization to elevate digital knowledge.
  • Manage budgets and accrual process for campaigns and vendors.
  • Edit and update content on web properties as needed to support initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing or strategy roles at a pharma, medical device or biotech company or agency with similar experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, digital, communications or similar field.
  • Agency experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience with omni-channel planning and campaigns with a deep knowledge of digital tactics including SEM, SEO, Paid media, social media, email & website.
  • Strong knowledge of digital regulations/requirements in the US and Canada
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and ecosystem.
  • Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in PowerPoint or other platforms.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with the ability to prioritize efforts and manage stakeholder expectations with strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation/decision-making skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, diplomatic, and able to effectively deal with ambiguity and solve problems through innovative thinking.
  • Natural entrepreneurial spirit with strong personal drive and ability to analyze data/insights to inform key decisions.
