Lead Engineer, Blockchain, Trading Engineering

Director, Trading Engineering, Exchange Engineering
The Blockchain Engineering team at Bullish is seeking a Lead Engineer!
You will:
- Lead a team of C++ specialists located across the world.
- Help further develop the high performance blockchain used in Bullish.
- Work on novel consensus algos, high performance p2p communication technologies, develop novel tooling to help application developers meet their needs faster, etc.
- Rely on your strong command of modern C++ (11+ required, STL, Boost, etc.) to help us meet our goals.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
- Develop blockchain solutions and provide support for blockchain development.
- Drive continuous performance and quality improvement.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance on tasks.
- Lead engineers on feature development and bug fixing assignments
- Work with Product Managers, Project Managers and executives to assemble requirements and deliver functionality
- Work as part of a Global (HK, SG, US) team
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BA/MS degree in Computer Science or related degree.
- Strong proficiency in C++, with solid knowledge of language specification.
- Experience with C++ 11 or 14 required, particularly mastery of STL, Boost and Lambdas.
- 10+ years of experience, preferably in an environment where latency and speed are factors (e.g., finance).
- Experience leading high performance teams.
- Ability to deliver against timelines
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies is a plus.
Annual Salary Range
- USD 160,000 - 250,000
