Lead Engineer Networking Team- Hybrid NY

The Lead Engineer serves as a senior technical resource, responsible for guiding diverse teams through the complexities of various domains which may include networking, cloud solutions, and/or other technical areas. The incumbent has applied a visionary technical leadership approach to ensure the seamless integration of intricate technical tasks with overarching departmental and organizational objectives

• Collaborate with management to shape and implement networking technology strategies and solutions across various infrastructure domains.
• Evaluate and offer technical guidance during the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure solution as it relates to networking.
• Identify areas for infrastructure improvement and proactively champion solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure practices align with overall company vision by leveraging relationships with other departments.
• Mentor and cultivate skill growth within the team, emphasizing current technologies and best practices.
• Craft scalable, robust, and efficient solutions that meet business demands in a large scale, multi-location environment.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained, while promoting industry best practices.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in leading, guiding, or influencing technical teams.
• Work experience requiring strategic thinking, while anticipating, spotting, and solving complex technical challenges.
• Work experience requires written and verbal communication that is clear, concise, and easily understood by a diverse audience when explaining intricate technical topics.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering or related field
• Demonstrated continuous learning and remaining updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Recognized certifications in cloud, networking platforms CCNP, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Practical experience in navigating hybrid infrastructure environments, balancing on-premises and cloud solutions.
• Previous success in rolling out large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
• Acquaintance with DevOps practices, tools, and integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and their application in dynamic work environments.
• Strong working experience with network logs analysis (i.e Wireshark and similar tools) in a large enterprise environment
• Expertise in UPS & other power related equipment to support network devices
• Demonstrated expertise of network architecture, protocols, and standards.

Hiring Range*:

• Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $108,300 - $156,485
• All Other Locations (within approved locations): $95,300 - $141,780

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
