Job Summary

The Lead Event Producer is a senior contributor on the global events team. Responsible for the development and deployment of marquee in-person and virtual initiatives and events, such as Amplify, Fuze, LINK, President’s Club, or other events based on business need.


What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for planning, managing and executing large, complex Workiva events from start to finish to maximize business benefits and build impactful and memorable experiences for event attendees. 

  • Works closely with Global Events Lead to establish goals and objectives to align with business growth strategy.

  • Serves as a pivotal part of the Global Events Team to ensure flawless execution of all large-scale and solution events. 

  • Responsible for managing vendor selection process and continued vendor management, as well as communicating and driving change with senior leadership and executives.

  • Manages multiple events, in-person and virtual, simultaneously and ensures the successful completion of each event under tight deadlines on a global scale.

  • Manages the day-to-day information exchange with external groups as well as shares best practices that can be leveraged across events internally while ensuring consistency of brand and event value and ROI.


What You’ll Need:

Experience:

  • 6 years of related industry experience, preferably in marketing

    • Experience in a SaaS B2B marketing environment preferred

    • Experience working with a geographically distributed team and with global events preferred

    • Experience in customer, prospect, external partner and/or incentive events preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 2 years of experience 

Skills

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proven ability to develop and execute joint marketing campaigns for larger, complex events across all channels including events, joint messaging, digital assets, collateral, email campaigns, thought leadership

  • Strong initiative, project management and time management skills

  • Proven ability to manage large, complex projects through all stages, from conception and budgeting, through implementation and wrap-up

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to lead presentations and interact with all levels of internal and external contacts

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 15% travel

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.

How You’ll Be Rewarded:

  • Salary range in the US: 
$101,000.00 - $172,000.00
  • A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
  • Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
  • 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
