Lead Finance Accountant

Your mission, should you choose to accept:
Adia, the leading on-demand staffing platform, is looking for an experienced Lead Finance Accountant with experience managing and preparing financial statements, working with external accountants, and managing invoicing and accounts receivables. You will be responsible for ensuring collection, and for consolidating and preparing financial KPIs and collaborating on sales strategy and pricing. Your objective is ensuring internal controls, providing financials, and refining a repeatable collection process for all types of transactions.
You will:

• Prepare estimation accruals (allowance for bad debts, bonus accruals, revenues accruals)
• Manage (alongside our parent company, Adecco US) topics such as inter-company transactions and Associate Payroll
• Own client billing and ensure credit collection
• Assist external accountants to provide needed information
• Review monthly results prepared by an external accountant
• Prepare monthly reporting for Adecco (monthly financial package) and preliminary results for monthly reviews
• Prepare Actuals vs. Forecast and budget analysis
• Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budget preparation
• Support financial KPIs
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting and all other processes that might have financial risks
• Manage and provide ad-hoc financial information requests from Group Accounting, Digital Finance, and Digital Management
• Collaborate on sales strategy and pricing
• Business / financial controlling
• Collecting and categorizing business expenses

Requirements:
• 4-6+ years of relevant finance experience (FP&A, account receivables, general accountant, external audit)
• Experience at a technology or other high-growth company preferred
• BS Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience as a financial accountant / controller or similar
• Experience working on financial audits at a large accounting firm a plus
• Strong analytical skills -- you enjoy dissecting and approaching problems from different perspectives to suggest and implement solutions
• Deep understanding of GAAP and overall accounting principles, FP&A, budgeting & forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting
• Highly skilled in building financial models and forecasts
• Experience with KPI reporting -- identifying metrics and developing dashboards
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally
• Superior attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and can self-manage against deadlines
