Description of work to be performed:

Responsible for architecture and administration of payment systems, such as Supply Chain Factoring and payment initiation programs for Oracle and SAP systems and payment interfaces to other payment systems. Enhance payment systems to expand the Supply Chain Factoring programs or to further automate payment operations. Support business case creation, project manage the IT effort, support and coordinate testing, and monitor go-live. Support identification of root cause, work with the IT team to define and implement corrections, test solutions, and monitor resolution. Monitor data from the systems to identify issues or opportunities for improvements. Support reconciliation of data between systems for financial reporting. Work with payments team and other resources to resolve issues and ensure on time payment.

Qualifications / Requirements:

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Finance or Business and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's degree experience in sourcing or accounts payable occupation. The Position also requires 5 years of experience with data analytics, SQL queries and reporting tools such as ThoughtSpot; 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting Supply Chain Factoring programs and systems both in Oracle and SAP; 3 years of experience with IT program / initiatives management; 3 years of experience in AP systems and Operations; 3 years of experience dealing with internal and external parties such as Supply Chain Factoring providers; 2 years of experience in supporting financial reconciliations; and 2 years of experience debugging payment errors, including experience in systems such as Middleware, SOA, Webmethods, PI.

Telecommuting permitted. When not telecommuting, must report/appear into/at Baker Hughes' office in Houston TX.
