What you will do

Under the direction of the Director of Finance Operations, this position is responsible for providing in depth financial planning, accounting and business analysis related to the functions at Corporate.

This position is responsible to work with the corporate functions to prepare financial plans and forecasts, prepares monthly financial statements for the functions under area of responsibility. The position works with management to understand financial trends, variances from budget, and direct appropriate follow upctions.

How you will do it
  • Responsible for the monthly closing of the corporate ledgers, including preparation and review of monthly closing journal entries, importing of transactions from source systems, and posting of ledgers.
  • Ensures proper recording of tax-planning transactions for Corporate entities.
  • Prepares and reviews general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assists with accounting for the company's deferred compensation plans.
  • Prepares monthly Corporate financial statements.
  • Prepares quarterly and year-end financial and tax reporting schedules.
  • Provides internal and external auditors with information required to perform annual and quarterly audits.
  • Assists with special projects and analysis as directed.
  • Researches and reports on significant accounting issues.
  • Maintains effective internal controls for all assigned responsibilities.
  • Provides leadership and support to other Corporate accounting team members as needed
  • Support all Corporate departments in analysis of operational results compared to plan and forecast


What we look for
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience in private and/or public accounting.
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer focused approach.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and a drive to achieve both short and long term results.
  • Ability to work well independently and in team setting.
  • Proven track record of delivering results required
  • Ability to meet firm deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point skills required.
  • Computer competency with familiarity with a variety of application software. SAP and HFM experience is a plus.
