What You Will Do
As the Lead Financial Analyst, your role involves close collaboration with the Marketing and R&D departments to fulfill strategic and financial goals. Your hands-on approach is crucial for delivering precise financial analysis and insights in a timely manner. Vigilant monitoring of vital financial metrics, offering well-founded recommendations, and implementing decisive actions are key responsibilities that drive the business forward.
- Provide business support to the Marketing and R&D functions, such as establishing KPI's, tracking performance, and making recommendations
- Work closely with the upstream marketing team to prepare and review NPD models
- Conduct financial reviews with business and functional leaders, add quality business insights and identify potential opportunities for improvements
- Lead the Annual Marketing Plan process with marketing (target setting and performance tracking)
- Participate in weekly staff calls - provide finance updates and gain insights into the business
- Prepare key management reports such as the ASC and Area Dashboards
- Gather materials for business reviews and investor relation questionnaires
- Perform financial forecasting for budget and projections
- Support the month end close process
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, MBA preferred
- 4+ years experience in Finance, FP&A, or related field required
- Proven track record of business partnering (2+ years experience preferred)
- High proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- PBI proficiency preferred
- Team player who works well in cross-functional teams
- Strong communications skills and ability to influence
- Self-motivated and responsible, with ability to meet deliverables according to timelines
- High ethical standards and integrity
You will need to live within commuting distance to our Mahwah, NJ office. You will need to be in the office 2-3 days a week, but you will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.
Travel Percentage: 10%
