The Lead Financial Analyst will lead cross functional and cross divisional process improvements to reduce waste in the Flex Financing programs process, improve accuracy of operations, and decrease the time to receive
*This is a hybrid-based position with preference to the candidate residing in a commutable distance to our San Jose (CA), Kalamazoo (MI), or Flower Mound (TX) Stryker offices

What you will do:
- Proactively track usage/fee for disposable deals and performing true-up activities
- Managing and administration of lease of deals with the Flex Financing team
- Oversee divisional and cross-divisional captive deals (divisional & ASC)
- Manage captive deals, UNL deals, traditional lender funded deals, and usage agreements
- Partnership with AR billing and invoicing teams responsible for Flex deals
- Support collections activities working with customers and cross functional to manage/track against payment plans, including working directly with the Sales team and customers.
- Investigate and assist with the cleanup of unapplied cash and determining solutions for future process improvements to increase cash application accuracy.
- Work with Flex team on intercompany transactions tied to multi-divisional deals, ensuring the division receives the accurate funding amounts. Reconcile any differences related to this.
- Escalate/inform Finance Leadership of existing or potential credit or collection issues.
- Manage and administer intercompany billings
- Develop and implement optimal processes to maximize cash recoveries and customer experience while reducing bad debt
- Support the Endoscopy division through the Accelerate project and be a main point of contact for Flex deal system integration and user acceptance testing for the division.
- Generate financial statement reports detailing accounts receivable aging/status update and tracking towards Flex deal collection targets.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition for sales type and operating lease arrangements related to the Endo and Corporate ASC programs, Captive and UNL deals.
- Lead analysis and alignment of reserves to ensure accurate reserve rates.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders and members of our field teams (Sales Reps and Project Managers), shared service team, Flex Finance/ASC team, as well as our in-house teams (Customer Service and Tech Support) to support key revenue and collection initiatives and alignment across teams.
- Perform month end journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting for the month end close process.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills, including the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with field-based customers via telephone and e-mail to continuously drive customer satisfaction.
- Lead and implement process improvements to ensure the success of Flex programs that support the short and longer term business strategy.
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of related experience in an accounts receivable, accounting, finance, or customer service role
- Familiarity with lease accounting preferred
- Experience working in cross functional projects preferred.
- Must be able to communicate with large groups of people
- Must be able to appropriately escalate issues, provide feedback, and drive business results
- Experience with performing reconciliations and journal entries
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems (including data analysis tools i.e. queries, pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience with Oracle, SAP and Salesforce preferred.
- Up to 10% Travel Required
$73,100- $152,400salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 10%
