Lead Financial Analyst (hybrid)

As the Lead Financial Analyst, you will provide sound financial insight, detailed analysis and objectives to ensure the organization's best opportunity to meet its financial goals.

The candidate will need to live within reasonable commuting distance to our Weston, FL office. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week and will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.

What You Will Do

FP&A, Reporting & Business Partnering

• Manage and perform month end and year end closing.
• Responsible for general accounting, Projections & Analysis.
• Analyze and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports.
• Maintain balance sheet accounts and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of Financial Budget and Projections.
• May analyze production and spending variances to tight deadlines at month end.
• Business Partner with Departments on business financial acumen and the preparation of financial projections.
• Represent Finance/Accounting on teams designed to improve operations, lean processes, reduce costs, etc.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley), US and local GAAP, and Corporate Policies over financial reporting and internal controls.
• Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.
• Manage & maintain the application of policy and internal controls and work with the Departments to ensure internal controls are working effectively.

• Actively contribute as part of the Finance Team to setting and achieving the team's goals and objectives.

What You Need

• Bachelor's Degree required (preferred concentration in Accounting or Finance) required
• Qualified Professional Accountant preferred
• 4+ years experience required in Accounting or finance
• Strong grasp of GAAP accounting and general accounting concepts
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and Hyperion Financial Management
• Extremely strong Excel skills, especially advanced financial modeling and analytical techniques
