Lead Financial Analyst (Remote)
Job Description
As the Lead Financial Analyst, you will analyze and forecast financial, economic and other data to provide accurate and timely information impacting strategic and operational decisions for the Neurovascular R&D functions.

What You Will Do
- Function as lead analyst supporting Neurovascular R&D functions (New product introduction, Sustaining, R&D Operations, Advance technology) - ~$80M annual budget globally.
- Lead month-end close activities, budget and forecast, gather financial data and present financial analysis and reporting and as necessary (monthly and quarterly).
- Perform research and prepare recommendations for senior management.
- Drive flexibility and innovation in decision making, guiding forecasting & budgeting cycles, providing real time inputs from finance/business perspective, and challenging spend.
- Conduct and document complex financial analysis projects.
- Develop analysis of economic indicators in order to prepare forecasts and analyze the company's short-, medium-, and long-term position.
- Prepare in-depth evaluations of plans and identify new methods of analysis and presentation.
- Coach, advise, or train less-experienced financial analysis staff.
- Work with extensive datasets, using strong system and data skills to analyze trends and benchmark spend. Work with global & regional teams on collection and validation of data.
- Analyze and identify business trends regarding product cycles, customer buying habits, cost cutting programs, spending projections, headcount trends, and operating expense management.
What You Need
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 6+ years' experience in financial analysis or data analysis on financial decision and strategy.
- Experience with Excel including advanced functions, formulas, pivots required.
- PowerBI experience required.
- Experience drawing data from various sources required.
- Experience building PowerBI dashboards preferred.
- SQL experience preferred.
- DAX or M experience Preferred.
$73,000- $152,400salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 10%
