Lead Financial Analyst, Technical Accounting (Hybrid)

The Technical Accounting team within the Flower Mound Finance Center will focus on supporting product divisions in accounting and reporting for leases, revenue recognition and reserves, acquisitions, and other complex accounting areas.

What you will do

As the Lead Financial Analyst, Technical Accounting you will help the Technical Accounting Team to support product divisions in accounting and reporting for leases, revenue recognition and reserves, acquisitions, and other complex accounting areas.

• Partner with divisions to migrate accounting processes, reconciliations, internal controls, and other reporting to the Finance Center.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to ensure integrity and efficiency while driving consistency between product divisions.
• Perform month-end close functions, ensuring journal entries and reconciliations are completed timely and accurately in accordance with corporate policy.
• Function as an extension of the divisional team, proactively communicating and leading meetings to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Assist with GAAP research and preparation of accounting position memos.
• Additional responsibilities will evolve as the Finance Center continues to expand, allowing for ongoing professional learning and development.

What you need

• 4+ years of experience in related field or 3 years FAR/Big 4 plus CMA/CPA
• Bachelor's degree required
• Solid understanding of GAAP, experience researching and applying GAAP preferred
• CPA / Big 4 experience preferred
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Blackline software preferred

The candidate will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance to our Flower Mound, TX location. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week but will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.

Travel Percentage: 10%
