What you will do

We are looking for someone to perform complex analyses to support and measure Business functional results and effectively manages Business financial planning process/projects to ensure success. Works with independence, interacts regularly with Business Functional leaders to consolidate and analyze outlooks and plans, analyze monthly financial results and establish & measure key financial targets. Performs analyses on functional spend and develops benchmarks and develops recommendations for management to achieve current corporate guidance.

This employee will be working out of the Louisville, KY Office.

How you will do it

• Works with Director/Manager on monthly/yearly planning and forecasting processes, timing and assumptions within the organization; including analyzing top-down commitments based on key assumptions.
• Works with Department Heads to establish department plan targets/budgets for expenses, capital spending and headcount.
• Responsible for ensuring timeliness of Corporate deliverables, including strategic plan, annual profit plan, monthly outlook and presentations.
• Contributes in organizing and consolidating Operating/Financial Review packages for the management team.
• Provides oversight and manages with FP&A manager SG&A spending cost centers and performance for the global management team. Reviews SG&A spending with leadership team.
• Reviews accuracy of Corporate balance sheet, cash flow and financial metric trends to ensure accuracy and potential gaps.
• Instinctively recognizes inconsistencies in financial data and initiates and manages the appropriate corrective action.
• Manages the evaluation and justification of strategic Corporate initiatives and other investments, as needed.
• Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trend.
• Create business reports that provide insight into key data points.
• Responsible for financial data gathering for business case audits
• Quantifies cost allocations and works with business partners to streamline cost allocation process and determine appropriate cost drivers
• Acts in a consulting role with corporate department leaders, demonstrates understanding of the financial analysis process and applies that knowledge to developing cost effective analyses and recommendations and supporting the budgeting process.
• Maintains dialog with executive management and business unit financial personnel to identify and evaluate evolving business issues.
• Manages special studies and analyses on an independent basis, assuming responsibility for the quality and effectiveness of the studies/analyses.

What we look for

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance with MBA or CPA preferred.
• Progressive level of responsibility and a minimum of 2-5 years of rich experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Excellent communication skills, including significant experience presenting to senior management.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to influence across the organization.
• Sound analytical depth skills, research capabilities and overall business acumen required
• Solid project management and business consultant skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel/Power Point/Word is essential.
• Experience with OneStream/HFM is preferred
