Job Description
As a Lead Frontend Engineer, the successful candidate will:
  • Set the standard by writing high-quality code that is performant, reusable, and secure while adhering to industry best practices
  • Creation of technical documentation to showcase and explain your deliverables
  • Participate in the architecture, design, development, and quality release of all software development artifacts using Agile methodologies and best practices such as Scrum
  • Perform as subject matter expert, helping team members understand complex technical needs, risks, and hurdles
  • Implement high-quality code and provide valuable feedback and code review to others
  • Collaborate effectively with the product team and other technology teams to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas
  • Work in a team as well as independently to deliver on schedules and goals
  • Conduct backlog grooming, story-mapping, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives for the Scrum teams within the product domain
  • Refine, estimate, and decompose user stories into technical implementation tasks in close collaboration with the individual contributors
  • Identify complex situations that may need dedicated discussion; following through with concrete meeting artifacts representing the discoveries and decisions
  • Drive continued adoption of test automation strategies and technologies, staying abreast of current industry trends and best practices
  • Contribute to organizational process improvement by identifying pain points and lobbying for change by presenting well thought-out proposals to peers and directors
  • Provide clear progress and status to the leadership team and if issues arise quickly identify options and recommendations for resolution
  • Serve as the main driver of delivery of engineering artifacts and product releases and enhancements by collaborating effectively with multiple internal and external groups to execute on identified roadmap and backlog items to ensure their successful and timely delivery.

About you
The successful candidate will have experience in working in innovative projects with fast-paced
delivery schedules in startups & large enterprises:
  • Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience developing softwarein a full-stack environment, including shipping production applications at scale
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems.
  • Enjoy coaching and mentoring fellow developers
  • A lifelong learner, stay current with industry trends, and discover new ways to improve
  • Expert-level JavaScript/Typescript knowledge, with demonstrated complex implementations a must, e.g., custom API's, optimization techniques, and design patterns.
  • Knowledge and understanding of a modern React stack (hooks, functional components)
  • Good knowledge of Unit/integration/e2e testing with continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Experience with npm/yarn, Webpack 5, Babel, unpkg, code splitting and building modular applications.
  • Experience in documenting design and architecture artifacts and presenting artifacts for architectural review.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient technical solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with clear communication and documentation capabilities
  • Experience in the delivery of software using SCRUM methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Strong technical skills and ability to "roll up sleeves" to support software engineering role

Nice to have skills:
  • Experience with Micro Frontends using Module Federation support in Webpack
  • Experience in working with AWS services, especially deploying applications to AWS.
  • Working experience with building GraphQL API and GraphQL client like Relay or Apollo.
  • Jest Unit testing experience
