The Lead Full Stack Engineer Performs software engineering activities in all layers of the stack, from setting up the database to programming in the back-end and the appearance at the front-end. The Lead Full Stack Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

You will work with innovators in developing products using cutting edge technology. You will contribute to the early stages of ideation, product design and platform selection as we explore the optimum solution for our business requirements. You will advise on developing functional strategies on matters of high significance, will use independent judgement and exercise decision making towards best technology solution as we modernize our complex legacy systems.

Responsibilities

The Lead Full Stack Engineer Is involved in all stages of software development including front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management.

The Lead Full Stack Engineer:

• Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
• Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision.
• Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
• Hands-on experience with full stack development building production-grade highly scalable software solutions utilizing best practices in DevSecOps
• Strong architectural experience, including setting the architectural direction for applications.
• Azure Cloud certifications; deliver all applications with Cloud first mindset, following Agile methodology.
• 2 or more years of project leadership experience.
• Experience providing technical guidance and feasibility to senior leaders and business strategy teams.
• Experience determining best practices for infrastructure to ensure scalability and resiliency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across levels and functions.
