Lead Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Summary:
We are in search of an entrepreneurial engineer who possesses experience working in both small and large corporate settings. As part of your role, you will collaborate with various business units to generate ideas and implement projects using emerging technologies, transforming concepts into tangible experiments. This presents a unique opportunity to rapidly build with new technologies and tackle distinctive business challenges. Your expertise in and familiarity with emerging technology will be crucial, as the success of our program hinges on delivering exceptional experiments that shape the enterprise's trajectory.
Working with our team, you will experiment with emerging technologies, with a focus on areas such as Machine Learning, AI, Web3, and more. Your collaboration will extend to operational and strategic leads, UI/UX designers, developers, and researchers. You will be responsible for effectively prototyping within fast-paced development cycles and communicating your progress and key findings to senior leadership.
The Role:

• Collaborate with the team to explore the impact of emerging technology on core business operations.
• Architect and design targeted experiments for rapid prototyping.
• Via rapid protypes, bringing experiments to life in partnership with strategy, design, and research.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative concepts to life.
• Take initiative, work independently, strategize, and execute.
• Lead by example, developing solutions that demonstrate a mature understanding of business value, scalability, performance, and feasibility within a regulated environment.
• Build prototypes using a combination of front-end, back-end, and third-party technologies.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Continuous learning and curiosity.
• Able to thrive and lead through ambiguous situations.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the organization by actively sharing results and insights with the team and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience building full-stack applications.
• Demonstrable experience with Python in both an application and data science context.
• Experience working with standard data science libraries and frameworks, including NumPy, Scikit-learn,
• Database experience - including SQL, No-SQL, and Vector databases.
• Experience within AWS and/or Azure to architect server-less applications.
• Experience architecting cloud applications using tools such as Terraform.
• Experience working with third-party SDKs and architecting applications reliant on third-party integrations.
• Experience or interest in developing AI-driven solutions, working with machine learning models, and familiarity with AI platforms, tools, and frameworks.
• Strong fundamental understanding of machine learning models.
• Experience with vector databases for tasks such as document retrieval and semantic search.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience building applications with emerging technologies such as GenAI, Web 3, etc.
• Deep knowledge of statistical analysis and model explain-ability.
• AI domain expertise with a portfolio of applications demonstrating ML/AI, and GenAI.
• Exposure to web3 and blockchain technology.
• Experience developing/delivering solutions in a regulated environment.

Pay Range - Start:
$139,370.00
Pay Range - End:
$258,830.00
