This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing software that influences how elite athletic organizations manage athlete health and operations. Collaborating closely with product and design teams, you will take ownership of feature development from inception through deployment. Your contributions will directly enhance the efficiency of clinical workflows and software reliability in a high-impact environment. You will also engage in code reviews, ensuring high-quality output while continuously striving to optimize existing systems and practices.
Accountabilities
Own features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration in productionBuild and maintain well-tested, maintainable code that meets the reliability bar required for sensitive, real-time workflowsContribute to API design in REST and participate in data modeling decisions that need to hold up at scaleEngage in code reviews and technical discussions, offering thoughtful feedback and raising the quality of what the team shipsPartner with product and design to translate complex operational workflows into clean, reliable software experiencesIdentify and improve existing systems, including legacy areas that require independent problem-solving to understand and refactorContribute to our microfrontend architecture (module federation), with an emphasis on maintainability, performance, and shared component patternsRequirements
6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of owning and delivering complex full-stack featuresStrong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js across frontend and backendSolid experience working with PostgreSQL, including writing efficient queries and contributing to data model designExperience designing and building APIs using REST and/or GraphQLA consistent practice of writing tests as a standard part of development, not an afterthoughtThe ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments, including working with systems that lack documentationCollaborative working style with a habit of communicating proactively across teams and functionsBenefits
