Lead Fullstack Engineer

Zaelab is a rapidly growing digital commerce consulting firm, and we are building Portul, a cutting-edge digital product designed to revolutionize B2B eCommerce. We’re looking for an engineering leader to drive the technical vision and implementation of this transformative platform.

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Leader to own the architecture and full-stack development of Portul. This individual will play a key role in shaping the product by building and scaling our multi-tenant cloud application using modern technologies. The ideal candidate has deep experience in full-stack development, microservices, and cloud infrastructure, and will guide a team to bring our innovative B2B eCommerce platform to life.

• Proven experience leading engineering teams and owning the architecture of SaaS products.
• Strong expertise in front-end technologies (VueJS) and back-end frameworks (NodeJS, NestJS).
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and building multi-tenant cloud applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms like Shopify or similar is a big plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building innovative products.
• Strong communication skills, able to translate technical details into business value
• Proven experience building and managing a team

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and full-stack development of Portul, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Design and develop high-quality, maintainable code for both the frontend and backend.
• Create and optimize a multi-tenant cloud application using microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to align technical solutions with business goals and customer needs.
• Stay hands-on with development using modern frameworks like VueJS (frontend) and NodeJS/NestJS (backend).
• Ensure cloud deployment best practices and infrastructure management, leveraging relevant cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Drive the engineering culture, emphasizing high standards for quality, collaboration, and innovation.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively across teams, including non-technical stakeholders.
