Job Description

Our Lead Generation Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks focused on lead generation, content development, and sales enablement to drive new business with prospects seeking multi-cloud infrastructure, business resiliency and technology intelligence and insight solutions. This position will support Otava's sales efforts by assisting in the development and management of marketing campaigns; conceptualizing and writing of lead gen content; analyzing the effectiveness of marketing activities; preparing reports and helping maintain our lead database.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing marketing campaigns and supporting lead gen efforts by developing and promoting emails & landing pages, creating lead nurture campaigns, and constantly A/B testing to optimize performance
  • Brainstorming, writing, and editing lead gen and thought leadership content pieces including how-to guides, white papers, and industry reports
  • Planning, organizing, promoting and executing industry tradeshows, webinars, events and speaking engagements
  • Developing sales and marketing materials, including decks, brochures, and testimonials; help to evolve message, become expert in business area to understand needs and challenges
  • Copy writing for website content; ensure website is on-message and updated with new content
  • Support regular reporting on marketing results; analyzing effectiveness of various marketing channels and make strategic recommendations based on trends
  • Writing new blog & social posts; developing ideas for content offers to drive leads
  • Creating audience segments and developing marketing campaigns that deliver a targeted message and create affinity with the brand
  • Detail-oriented and knowledgeable within Data Analysis with experience carrying out in-depth research, evaluating and improving marketing


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, copy writing skills
  • Project and campaign management experience
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Data driven decision making
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and keep stakeholders informed of progress and blockers.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, often under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business, preferred


Experience:

  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience in the cloud or tech industry, lead gen experience a plus
