Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead InfoSec / IT Engineer to manage our IT infrastructure and security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), endpoint security, network monitoring, and cloud security. You will be responsible for building and managing the information security and IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and growing the team as the company scales. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf for Mac, Intune for Windows) to secure and control devices across the organization.

• Establish and maintain endpoint security systems using tools like Microsoft Defender and other industry-standard security solutions.

• Oversee network tracking and device monitoring, ensuring secure access and usage of internal and external networks.

• Set up and monitor cloud security across various platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ensuring robust data protection and compliance.

• Develop and manage network security protocols and infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.

• Establish security protocols for the IT lifecycle (from onboarding to offboarding), including user access control, secure software deployment, and patch management.

• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring swift identification, mitigation, and resolution of any security breaches or vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, etc.) to ensure security is integrated into all processes and systems.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant security frameworks.

• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing InfoSec/IT team as the company scales.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.

• Proven experience in setting up IT infrastructure, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Intune) and endpoint security tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike).

• Strong understanding of network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.

• Experience with cloud security across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Demonstrated ability to build systems from scratch and lead IT/InfoSec projects independently.

• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to make strategic decisions, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for managing IT and security operations.

• Familiarity with compliance standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR.

• Experience in building and leading a security/IT team.
