Lead Infrastructure Engineer, reporting to either our (Pasadena, CA, Alpharetta, GA, Miami, FL, Norfolk, VA, or Roseland, NJ offices). This is a Hybrid role.
Position Overview:
The Lead Application Services Infrastructure Engineer is a hands-on technical professional responsible for executing the design and deployment of the infrastructure supporting applications within an organization. Collaborating closely with architects and other stakeholders, their primary focus is on turning architectural plans into reality. They play a crucial role in configuring, optimizing, and maintaining the application service infrastructure, ensuring it meets the required performance, scalability, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment Execution: Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to implement the infrastructure design for web services. Translate architectural blueprints into actionable tasks, ensuring the successful deployment and configuration of servers, network components, and related technologies.
Performance Tuning: Optimize the application service infrastructure based on the provided architectural guidelines. Conduct performance testing and fine-tune system components to achieve optimal speed and responsiveness.
Security Implementation: Work with architects to implement security measures and best practices across the infrastructure. Apply appropriate security configurations to protect web services from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Rapidly respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents. Utilize troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions, minimizing downtime and ensuring web service availability.
Automation and Tooling: Develop and utilize automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure management tasks. Collaborate with architects to incorporate automation into the deployment and maintenance processes.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of implemented infrastructure configurations and processes. Ensure all relevant knowledge is well-documented for the reference of the team and organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Network engineering which focuses on application side support and troubleshooting. Emphasis on load balancing, scripting, proxy, security.
  • Proven experience in deploying and managing application service infrastructures in real-world scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, including web servers, load balancers, caching mechanisms, and CDNs.
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and relevant services.
  • Knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and security aspects related to web services.
  • Experience with scripting languages for automation and configuration management tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure the performance and health of application services.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications in relevant technologies are advantageous.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. The Salary Range for this role is $88,900 to $ 195,500/Year.
