The injection molding machine operator is responsible for the set-up, operation and inspection of all molding activities within the molding department. Responsibilities: · Setting up and preparing machines using design directions or blueprints for each production run. · Monitoring production: Ensuring quality during the process. · Cleaning and performing maintenance on the equipment. · Collecting and inspecting the parts, and sometimes separating the parts from the runners. · Adjusting machinery to ensure continuous operation of all processes. ·Performing visual and mechanical quality checks to ensure all production meets quality standards. · Submitting daily production, quality and equipment reports. · Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work process, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. · Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at highest quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials. · Meets the expected production timelines that are required. · Notifies management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions. ·Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations and cleanliness. · Completes training requirements as specified in the company training matrix. · Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. · Performs other related duties as assigned. Education & Experience: · High School Diploma or GED equivalent · 5 years’ experience operating injection molding equipment Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including two 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break If you are seeking a challenging role where your skills can shine, apply now to be part of our dynamic team!
