This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Innovation Consultant - REMOTE. In this role, you will support leading organizations in the circular bioeconomy to transform innovative ideas into high-impact projects funded by the EU. Your focus will be on bio-based materials, biorefineries, biofuels, and circular industrial processes. You will combine skills in proposal writing, client advisory, and business development, engaging with significant programs like Horizon Europe, CBE-JU, and the Innovation Fund.
Accountabilities
Lead the preparation and submission of EU proposals (Horizon Europe, CBE-JU, LIFE, PRIMA, EU Missions, Innovation Fund)Develop high-quality proposal sections, focusing on Impact, business case, exploitation, dissemination, and market uptakeIdentify funding opportunities and position clients strategically in the Circular BioeconomyBuild and manage international consortiaDrive business development in bio-based materials, biorefineries, and biofuelsDevelop and manage client relationships, identifying cross-selling opportunitiesContribute to or coordinate EU-funded projects, ensuring delivery and complianceMentor junior consultants and share best practice knowledgeRequirements
5+ years of experience in EU R&D funding, proposal writing, or innovation consultingProven track record in Horizon Europe proposal development with a strong focus on the Impact sectionExpertise in Circular Bioeconomy, including bio-based materials and biomass conversionGood knowledge of EU funding programmesExperience in client-facing roles or business developmentAbility to translate technical concepts into strategic, fundable proposalsDegree in chemical or biochemical engineering, environmental engineering, or related fieldsFluent in English; Spanish is a plusBenefits
