One of our 10 core values at Evolve is Learn Every Day. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Lead Instructional Designer to help level up our learning experiences. In this role, you’ll support the efforts of Evolve’s Learning and Enablement team by innovating and problem solving to design high-quality learning experiences across modalities that drive impact, improve speed to proficiency and develop skills and competencies for learners in support of our growing organization. You’ll partner closely with business leaders and other members of the Evolve Learning and Enablement team to create cohesive learning experiences that align to business and leadership strategy and vision.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand needs and translate those into impactful learning solutions using the appropriate modality
  • Ensure a learner centered design approach and ensure cohesion across curriculum 
  • Create and manage curriculum that supports whole departments and/or business functions
  • Define and align learning objectives to measurement targets that support immediate and long-term business objectives and continuous career development for our employees.
  • Lead large-scale projects through the development lifecycle, providing clear timelines through all phases, communicating with key partners, and selecting appropriate measurement for successful implementation
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners / stakeholders and leverage relationships to define the training approach
  • Create assessment tools to measure the knowledge of the learner at the end of the training, engagement of the class, and performance
  • Use performance metrics and data to evaluate and improve curriculum
  • Acts in a leadership coach and/or mentor role to provide guidance to other team members

What makes you a great fit

  • 5+ years of instructional design experience required; learning and training experience in hospitality, travel, or highly seasonal roles strongly preferred 
  • 2+ years of end to end project management with ability to lead a project from initial ideation and consultation through to fruition
  • 1+ years experience in a leadership role preferred
  • Ability to shift priorities as needed
  • Experience designing and developing blended learning solutions including e-learning, instructor-led training content, and supporting materials such as audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.
  • Proven experience with authoring tools such as Rise360, Storyline, Captivate or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Proven success in selecting the best learning solution/modality and why
  • Ability to wave different content mediums together to create robust learning pathways for learners
  • Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent decision making and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with the ability to meet deadlines and the flexibility to pivot based on organizational changes and learner needs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating a sense of urgency and ownership
  • Exposure to learning management systems (LMS)

Location 

Evolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work remotely anywhere in the state of Colorado, in our beautiful downtown Denver office, remotely or a hybrid of both! As we grow, we are working towards opening remote opportunities across the entire U.S. We currently are able to hire across the U.S except in the following locations: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania. 

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $84,000-$96,000, depending on relevant experience.
