Lead Instructor: Enterprise Data Storytelling

Your impact 

We are preparing to launch one of our enterprise programs, focused on data storytelling. Learners in this program come from a decision sciences background and this program will be geared toward upskilling their knowledge. The program will specifically focus on areas such as data storytelling, data visualization, and effective communication with non-technical stakeholders. The goal is to empower decision scientists to leverage data effectively and to help their commercial counterparts make informed, data-driven decisions. We are looking for a talented instructor to facilitate all live sessions. 

A day in the life 

• Lead instruction for ~12 employees over a 5 week program (September 11 - October 13). The instructor will be responsible for leading live lectures every week.
• The role is part-time, remote, and paid (compensation details below). The approximate weekly commitment is ~3 hours per week. 
• Coaching and training a group of mid-senior level professionals on specific topics related to data storytelling
• The Lead Instructor will be involved in review and feedback for final capstone projects 

Your expertise 

• 10+ years experience in data science, ideally with experience in retail / consumer-facing industry.
• Must have some teaching experience
• Familiar with data storytelling and data visualization
• Able to engage senior level professionals
• Experience with Tableau

Where you are

• This role is remote and can be located anywhere that is compatible with the EST time zone. We are headquartered in New York City and have office space in Midtown Manhattan.

Compensation

• This role is compensated at $300/hr
