Job Description

Evergreen Center is seeking a bright and energetic Lead Instructor who will be responsible for the implementation of specific instructional activities and treatment programs as designed by the students' Individual Education Plans and Individual Service Plans.

In addition to providing daily care and support to students, the Lead Instructor ensures that other staff are appropriately collecting and recording data, assists in the supervision of instructional activities in the classroom and in the community, acts of the shift charge supervising staff when in residence, and works with the Head Teacher to develop specific educational and treatment objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 2-3 years of experience in providing direct care for persons with significant developmental or physical disabilities
• Experience with applied behavior analysis (ABA) a plus
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check
