JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Lead to join the company’s newly formed Internal Audit team, to provide independent and objective assurance and consulting service in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the company’s governance, risk management and internal controls. The position will have high visibility within the company and high potential for internal promotion. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to grow with the company in a unique industry with high growing potential.
CORE JOB DUTIESÂ
- Conducts full cycle of audit engagements including risk assessments, audit scoping, process walkthrough and documentation, controls assessment, and conclude and report on the audit findings.Â
- Acts as a leader with junior staff members, providing training, coaching and regular feedback to encourage growth and improvement.
- Assists with special projects on SOX compliance and Senior Management requested projects (fraud investigation or other ethics violations etc.)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLSÂ Â
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant fields with at least 5 years of Internal/External Audit or Internal Controls/SOX testing and/or program management experiences.
- Ability to lead and take initiatives.
- Professional certification a plus (CPA or CIA)
- Excellent communicator with the ability to conduct interviews with the process owners, ask good questions, document the process flows and present to management.
- Strong understanding of business processes and controls.
- Solid analytical skills and good attention to detail when working with large datasets.
- Experience with process flow charts, controls mapping, sample testing and drawing conclusions on control deficiencies, as well as making value add recommendations.
- Demonstrate good initiative and ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Must be ethically strong, with high levels of integrity and adherence to regulations, controls, and compliance.

COMPENSATIONÂ
In accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the estimated range of compensation is $100,000 - $110,000 + bonus eligible. Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience and other relevant factors.
