The iOS Swift Developer will play a critical role on key projects for Lab49 clients. Working in a collaborative and innovative project team, with direct client-facing interactions, you will have an opportunity to apply your skills and expertise to design innovative applications that solve complex problems and enhance performance and productivity at our marquis clients.

Key Responsibilities

• 10+ years of experience in Design, implement, deliver, and test innovative iOS Swift applications while understanding our products from both a technical and product perspective in the context of our client’s business. 
• Excellent Client handling experience, who can Communicate with leadership, product owners, other technologists and users to create working software based on an understanding of business and technical priorities. 
• Break down complex problems into elegant technical solutions to intelligently solve problems for Lab49's clients. 
• Actively contribute to the adoption of strong software architecture, development best practices and new technologies. We are always improving the process of building software; we’ll need your help to do that. 
• Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends. 
• Experiment with and learn new technologies. 

Required Skills and Experience

• 10 +Years of experience in iOS development 
• 7+ years experience in writing and delivering iPhone applications in Swift.
• Experience with Swift 3.x, Swift 5.x, SwiftUI and Combine are preferred.
• Experience maintaining Objective-C code and converting it to Swift.
• Thorough unit testing experience, specifically involving mocking external interfaces.
• Demonstrate an understanding of user behavior and how to tailor web experiences to meet the needs of users.

 Desired Skills and Experience

• Portfolio of work exhibited as code and/or a downloadable application from the App Store. 
• Experience in multi-tier application development using RESTful web services to exchange data. 
• Multi-threading application development experience. 
• Experience interfacing with device hardware (e.g. camera). 

Nice to Have Skills and Experience 

• Experience with push notification infrastructure. 
• Experience in identity management and data security. 
• Knowledge of, and strong demonstrated interest in, global financial markets and financial products is a strong plus.
• Ability to manage effectively a team of 5-10 developers.
