Lead IT Process Engineer

Fortune Brands Innovations has a new opening for a Lead IT Process Engineer. This is a business-critical role that will be focused on our SAP EWM S4 platform. supporting our global transportation and distribution business operations.

In this role, you will leverage innovative technologies for competitive business advantage and improving associate productivity. Responsible for requirements definition, technical design, solution development, integration testing, and project leadership.

BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead level IT Analyst/Developer role with primary emphasis on EWM to design and develop Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) solutions for our distribution centers
• Integrate EWM with the WES (conveyors, Autostore, Box Sizer, etc), label applicators, radio frequency (RF) devices, slotting software, and our SAP ERP environment.
• Identifies, proposes and influences business solutions, negotiates deliverables and requirements across multiple business customers or organizations. 
• Develops and improves business processes at all times, assisting with the development of metrics, both within the technology and business organizations.
• Implement new application functionality and enhance existing functionality to new and existing systems through configuration and adaptation
• Help achieve IT Scorecard goals and metrics
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to business stakeholders in business terminology
• Ability to analyze business objectives/requirements and translate those into system solutions.
• Ability to influence project scope and solution definition though leverage of strong communication and internal consulting skills
• Serve as IT liaison with the DC operations team
• Leverage IT governance processes to ensure proper project definition, socialization and control. Experience with Agile methodologies is helpful but not required.
• Lead and drive change throughout the organization using standardized Change Management methodology
• Supervise the work of other project team members and/or IT consultants

• Extensive functional EWM experience is required including master data, inbound/outbound processing, physical inventory, labor management, and internal processes.
• Solid understanding of SAP EWM functionality and the ability to integrate with our S4/ECC enterprise system
• Experience with ancillary warehouse applications & automation is a plus. This includes Teklynx (Labeling), Fortna WES, Logivations slotting software, SAP MFS (automation integration), Zebra RF & printers, and Panther label applicators.
• Ability to debug EWM ABAP code is a plus
• Experience with SAP CDS Views is a plus
• Proven track record of successful implementation projects from a leadership and development perspective, preferably using the Agile development methodology
• Four year college degree required and at least 10+ years work experience with emphasis on Information Technology.
