The position plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of systems supporting modern AI-driven and data-intensive workloads. You will work across architecture, deployment, automation, and operational support, contributing directly to critical infrastructure decisions and implementations. The role requires strong independence, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to lead technical efforts across distributed teams. You will operate in cloud-native environments with a strong emphasis on performance, resilience, and security. This position also involves mentoring peers and influencing engineering best practices across teams.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead and contribute to end-to-end system engineering efforts, including architecture design, integration, testing, deployment, and validation of enterprise infrastructure. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across cloud and on-prem environments while ensuring high system availability and performance.

  • Design, deploy, configure, and support infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services environments
  • Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, and hybrid cloud systems
  • Develop and maintain automation using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Build, integrate, test, and deploy systems while ensuring alignment with security, performance, and operational standards
  • Support system architecture design, evaluate technologies, and recommend improvements for long-term scalability and cost optimization
  • Maintain and enhance applications, ensuring version compliance, performance optimization, and regression-free updates
  • Support incident response, production troubleshooting, and rapid remediation of infrastructure issues
  • Contribute to system security design, including IPS/IDS solutions and network protection mechanisms
  • Participate in due diligence activities such as design reviews, vendor coordination, and solution documentation
  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices
  • Requirements:

This role requires deep expertise in Linux systems engineering, cloud platforms, automation, and large-scale infrastructure operations. Candidates should be able to operate independently in high-pressure environments and demonstrate strong troubleshooting and design capabilities.

    • 5+ years of Linux systems engineering experience (RedHat, CentOS, Rocky Linux)
    • 3+ years of Kubernetes experience, including Helm chart development and application deployment
    • 3+ years of experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
    • 5+ years of experience with Elasticsearch (indexing, clustering, performance tuning, troubleshooting)
    • 5+ years of experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
    • Strong understanding of networking, security, encryption, and network protection technologies (IPS/IDS)
    • Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, virtualized environments, and enterprise storage systems
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ruby, Perl, or advanced KSH
    • Strong knowledge of system performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization
    • Ability to work in 24/7 operational support models, including outages and maintenance windows
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Willingness to travel as needed
    • Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance
    • Benefits:

      • Short-term and long-term incentive opportunities (bonus structure may apply)
      • Exposure to advanced cloud, AI-driven, and large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments
      • Opportunity to work on mission-critical systems with high visibility and impact
