As the Lead Java Developer, you will program on specific application subsets of the company's application portfolio, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically for an assigned business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms. You will maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements, lead requirements gathering meetings, and review designs with the business. You will also lead efforts with web and marketing team to increase the presence of web products. Additionally, you will:

• Own the change request process and coordinates with other teams as necessary
• Develop and own list of final enhancements
• Develop and define application scope and objectives and supervise the preparation of technical and functional specifications from with programs will be written
• Perform technical design reviews and code reviews
• Ensure unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, and system testing is completed, and system is implemented according to plan
• Be responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort
• Coordinate and manage on-call support and owns the system monitoring process
• Own the technical development environment and work on the enterprise team
• Lead multiple or large projects and facilitate large group JAD sessions for requirements, modeling in several disciplines
• Lead vendor evaluation and analysis

What You'll Need to be Successful:

• At least 7 years of experience with multi-platform business and technical applications
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field

Great Additional Skills:

• Experience leading people in small projects and providing troubleshooting support
• Multi database or multi language
• Java 11/J2EE, Core and Cloud Native Design Patterns experience
• Microservices such as Spring Boot or other equivalent frameworks, Hibernate, Transaction Management experience
• Angular 9+ SPA experience
• AWS Kinesis or Kafka, AWS Lambda (Java/Python, AWS SDK for Java/Python, Oauth2/OpenID connect) experience
• SQL for RDMS/Columnar Databases and DevOps basics experience
• .Net core experience
• Kubernetes experience
• Container Orchestration Platform including Openshift or other equivalent Kubernetes platforms experience
