At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small multi-functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Java Full Stack Engineer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the "team", drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Involve in different phases of Software Creation Process (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment.
• Design and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices.
• AWS (Good to have)
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
• Contributes to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills.

Required qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices.
• Experienced with AWS (good to have)
• SQL database experience is good to have
• Strong communication skills and experienced in delivering projects in Scrum agile methodology.
• Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving
• Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail oriented.
