Lead JavaScript Developer

We are seeking a Lead JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in developing scalable, high-performance web applications.
As the lead, you're expected to bring and maintain deep technical expertise and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions using Node.js and ReactJS
• Develop new user-facing features using Next.js, ensuring their responsiveness and scalability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code throughout the application lifecycle
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables
• Mentor and guide team members in best practices, code reviews, and process improvements
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks in order to adopt and implement them accordingly
• Enhance application performance through regular evaluations and by integrating Amazon Web Services seamlessly
• Spearhead the integration of front-end and back-end aspects of the applications
• Define proper coding standards and development strategies to support multiple applications on various platforms
• Ensure a strong emphasis on security, data protection, and overall application integrity

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in JavaScript development
• Proficiency in Node.js and ReactJS
• Expertise in Next.js
• Background in deploying applications using Amazon Web Services
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards and code reviews
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Strong analytical skills and solution-driven approach
• Competency to lead a team and ensure project goals are met within the specified timeline
• Proficiency in version control systems and continuous integration tools
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AngularJS
• Understanding of incremental static regeneration in Next.js
• Flexibility to adapt to new technologies as project needs evolve
