As a trailblazer in collaborative web development, we're looking for a Lead/Senior Laravel/PHP Developer who is passionate about crafting exceptional code and eager to lead and contribute to a platform that's changing the game for businesses worldwide.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Advanced Feature Development: Develop and maintain complex features in our Laravel platform, enhancing functionality and user experience.
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code, adhering to best practices, patterns and standards.
• Front-End Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers for seamless integration of user interfaces with server-side logic.
• API Leadership: Lead API design/architecture and development for high performance and scalability, focusing on ease of use and robust documentation.
• User Experience Focus: Understand product use-cases to create superior user experiences, focusing on UI/UX, performance, and reliability.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the application for speed and scalability, including database optimizations and resource management.
• Security and Data Protection: Implement strong security measures and data protection strategies to safeguard user data and platform integrity.
• Lifecycle Contribution: Engage in all development lifecycle phases, adopting agile methodologies for continuous improvement.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior/mid developers, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Direct Management: Hire and manage the backend team, as well as manage the existing backend team of 2.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on web development trends and technologies, incorporating innovative solutions to benefit users.
• Growth-Oriented Mindset: Guide our product team and shape our future technological direction. You find the problems, but instead of just reporting them, you come with the solutions and make them happen.

• Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Laravel/PHP Developer working with a medium/large product.
• Expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Some experience using Python is nice to have but not a must.
• Extensive Experience with SQL databases that house large amounts of data.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Github.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strategic thinking with a big picture perspective to align the product with business goals.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (React) is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes would be a plus.
• A professional who is always prepared for rapid response in the event of any issues, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach to swiftly resolve challenges.
