This role is essential for inspiring and leading a network of developers across multiple regions. You will be at the forefront of driving engagement with Twilio products, partnering closely with marketing and product teams to ensure that developers have the right resources and support. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our developer community, enhancing their overall experience and engagement with our solutions. Accountabilities

  • Inspire and equip developers to build with Twilio products.
  • Actively engage with the developer community both online and offline.
  • Collaborate across teams to define program and engagement objectives.
  • Own the strategy for Developer Evangelism in the Americas region.
  • Effectively communicate project plans and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop the careers of the regional Evangelists.
  • Expand Evangelism projects through a metrics-driven approach.
  • Contribute to the Developer Network’s overall strategy.
  • Foster partnerships across various functions within the company.
  • Represent the regional team to all levels of leadership.
  • Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Developer Relations or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of team leading or management experience.
  • Proven experience in Developer Marketing and community engagement.
  • Capability to navigate cross-functional collaboration at scale.
  • Excitement for serving developer communities authentically.
  • Strong storytelling skills to highlight developer successes.
  • Creative problem-solving capabilities with a focus on data.
  • Experience in mentoring team members for growth.
  • Familiarity with the North and Latin America developer landscape.
  • Professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
