Who are we looking for?

Culture Amp is looking for a Lead Marketing Operations Manager to join our growing Marketing Operations team. This is an imperative position for the team and this person will support the marketing team through marketing tech, processes, and enablement to be able to scale for future growth.

This person will help own a robust marketing technology stack, including the implementation of new tools and optimization of existing platforms to meet our business goals. The Sr. Marketing Operations Manager will be proactive in finding, creating, and managing process improvements to support a quickly growing marketing team. You will also act as a strategic advisor to the marketing team by providing recommendations and guidance to help scale. 

The ideal candidate will have vast experience working in different types of marketing tech, and has the type of personality that likes to uncover issues and solve problems. You will be highly motivated, a self-starter, and have experience working cross-functionally. You will understand the B2B marketing landscape and keep up-to-date with new technology and the latest and greatest in the B2B marketing world.

In addition to owning marketing tech, you will be a true partner to the marketing team and will ensure that they have the right processes in place to be successful in their roles. You’ll lead training sessions, provide recommendations, and you’ll help set the team up for success to be able to scale for future growth. 

In part of this team of amazing humans, 

You will 

  • Implement new marketing technology and document the use of this tech and how it flows together
  • Create new, or update existing, processes and enable the teams through training 
  • Work cross-functionally with teams like Sales Ops, Legal, Finance, etc. to complete projects
  • Own the inbound data, and help to ensure its integrity and cleanliness 
  • Be someone who is very eager to learn, but also loves to get their hands dirty and solve complex problems 
  • Support the marketing team through marketing tech, processes, and enablement to be able to scale for future growth 

You have 

  • 5+ years of experience working in Marketing Automation Platforms (Hubspot, Eloqua, Marketo)
  • Strong experience working in SFDC building reports and dashboards, and a strong understanding of how SFDC can impact how data is sent into platforms 
  • Experience working with, and owning, multiple marketing technologies at once, including 6sense, Segment, Bizible, Uberflip, SplashThat, Madkudu, Google Analytics, and more
  • Strong understanding of website analytics using tools like Segment and Google Analytics  
  • Previous experience in an ops role where you’ve worked closely with marketing teams and have provided recommendations
  • Experience improving processes and workflows that contributed to an increase in MQLs or pipeline 
  • Worked with dispersed marketing teams in different regions and understand the impact and implications of recommendations to different audiences 

You are

  • A self-starter who takes pride in developing projects on their own and seeing them to the end 
  • An excellent communicator and have experience working cross-functionally to complete projects (ex: Sales Ops, legal, security, sales, etc.)
  • Someone who is curious and will take the extra time to dig deeper to understand something
