Lead MECM/SCCM Engineer

TIAA's Global Infrastructure Services team manages our core infrastructure assets. Our team is the first line of support on any production related issues including our network and telecommunications, computing (middleware), and end-user support, as well as the firm's 24x7 data center operations. The Global Infrastructure Services team collaborates closely with our business-aligned partners in technology and with key stakeholders across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, configure, administer, build, and support the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM) and Modern Management systems that support the desktop environment including use of Software Center and Application Catalogue self-service
• Design and engineer the Windows Desktop Operating systems and automate upgrade processes on physical and virtual infrastructure to TIAA standards for optimal performance and stability
• Develop and Engineer Workstation policies and configurations with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Active Directory GPOs, AzureAD, M365, FSLogix and Powershell to manage and maintain Windows desktop operating environment and productivity tools to meet business needs.
• Diagnose advanced Windows OS desktop and productivity applications and internet browser issues and perform root cause analyses being tier 3 support to TIAA's Desktop Support team
• Collaborate with server and network engineers, Cybersecurity, and business analysts to deliver desktop solutions and meet company standards

Required Experience

• 5+ years experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM configuration and profile management tools.
• 5+ years experience engineering and architecting Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
• 5+ years experience engineering and supporting Active Directory Group Policies for workstation devices

Preferred Experience

• Deep understanding of the MECM/SCCM SQL database, database management and SQL Reporting services
• 3+ years experience with design and engineering of Windows client operating systems and productivity application interconnectivity and management with AzureAD and M365
• Seven or more years of experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems, related Windows operating systems scripting skills (Powershell, WSH, Batch, etc.) and Visual Basic skills.
• 5+ years of experience supporting desktops deployment processes in a multi segmented, routed and firewalled enterprise network
• 5+ years of experience with leveraging windows WMI in MECM/SCCM
• Experience with App-V configuration, Citrix and VMWare OS and Application virtualization technologies
• Strong familiarity with security technologies such as antivirus, firewalls, VPN, SSL, etc. preferred
• Server 2012/2016/2019 administration experience preferred

Base Pay Range: $104,500/yr. - $174,200/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
