The Mission

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on People Operations leader to join our growing People team. Your mission will be to lead and inspire the HR team and to design and implement scalable global people operations strategies and infrastructure, refining current people operations to automate processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and high quality service. The right person for this role will be focused on inspiring excellence within their team, creating strong cross-functional partnerships across the business, and developing innovative and impactful solutions to support the organization, in alignment with our people first culture and strong values. Working with the People Team and Practice leaders, you will be responsible for improving current processes, developing future process improvements, and developing policies that ensure our employees, our culture and our company are engaged

Your Assignment

  • Build and lead all aspects of People Operations (Onboarding, Performance Management, Data Integrity, Analytics and Reporting, People Systems, Employee Relations, Benefits Selection and Rollout, HR Compliance, Immigration/Visa, and LOA), finding ways to build scalable scalable operating models and perform our work more effectively
  • Be a thought partner with the CPO to define the strategy for our People Operations functions over time, looking for ways to innovate and drive positive impact in line with our culture and values
  • Develop a people operations team that is committed to providing excellent service to team members and supporting our success
  • Manage the PEOs and payroll vendors and serve as primary contact and owner of effectiveness of the PEO
  • Build analytics capability to track key people-related metrics and ensure leaders have the right insights to inform decision making in alignment without culture
  • Ensure handbook is regularly updated and compliant for different employee groups
  • Identify and create new policies where necessary
  • Manage and lead relationships with HR technology vendors
  • Implement necessary technology that touches employee experience and improves efficiency of the people team
  • Enable Tech & AI to automate processes where possible
  • Lead the team to support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including new-hire onboarding, offboarding, benefits enrollments, leave of absences, and general employee support
  • Manage development programs, which include career frameworks, semi-annual performance reviews, and annual compensation cycles
  • Be a steward of Caylent’s culture, implementing virtual team engagement and other best-practices to promote an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace
  • Collect feedback to understand the needs of our employees and take ownership of identifying and implementing solutions
  • Continuously improve and upscale processes as the organization scales
  • Take a lead role in company-wide meetings to present new HR policies, initiatives, and updates, ensuring that information is effectively conveyed to a global audience.

Your Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on People Operations experience for global, high-growth teams, working directly with employees and managers across a variety of seniority levels, with the capability of understanding the lowest level of detail and demonstrating a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to get things done
  • Significant experience in compliance, benefits administration, payroll, systems administration, performance management, compensation and related HR-process functions
  • Demonstrated ability to engage diverse employee populations and support/coach managers
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build things from scratch
  • Experience with complex global corporate structures and leading people systems, technology and processes in a multi-country environment
  • You excel at process management, process documentation, and ensuring that processes receive regular review and auditing to be in a state of regular improvement
  • Program and project management–meaning you’re highly capable of leading the team to get stuff done but also when rolling out a program or process you approach it like a project to be led
  • Direct experience leading People administrative processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee data and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working in a Private Equity (PE) backed environment
  • Experience working in a client-facing environment
  • Experience working in consulting or professional services
  • AI enabled process design

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $190,000. If you are hired at Caylent, your base salary is determined on factors such as skills, experience, geographic location, and other market conditions. While it's not typical for offers to be made at the top of the range, please keep in mind that the base salary range is only one component of your overall compensation. Additionally, you are eligible for the benefits, bonuses, and incentives as listed above in the job description!
